New Design: Astrid
Astrid began as a drawing of our car that my child did. The shape suggested something else to me and I started doodling. This is what I came up with. A green, three-eyed, three-legged space alien dog named Astrid. I hope you enjoy her cheerful demeanor as much as we do. The name Astrid is from Astor meaning stars but it is also from Old Norse meaning beautiful god. In this case we think it means beautiful dog.

W00T! Dr. Horrible is available on iTunes again!
W00T! Joss Whedon and company (That is a talented family!) have made the soundtrack available AND have put the episodes back up to buy as well. Now I can burn a CD and listen to it at work while I go about memorizing the lyrics. I suspect it is on its way to becoming a sing-along blog truely. Every geeky friend I know is purchasing this as we speak. For those of you who don’t know about Dr. Horrible or Joss Whedon take this moment to click on the image above and enjoy.
Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day & Nathan Fillion have great voices but the real treat is the melody and composition Joss (and company) created. I though his musical episode of Buffy was fantastic and I think he just keeps getting better and better.

I redid the design since I felt people couldn’t read it very well from far away. So here is new, darker type. I used Cooper Black which for you old-school people is the only font you used to be able to get on t-shirts.
