Website updates are progressing!
I am getting this html thing down! (Okay, notsomuch but I am faking it much better!)
I have changed the faveicon.ico on both MoGoLounge.com and HandForgedProductions.com. For those of you unfamiliar with that thingy it is the little square image you can see to the left of the title in a tab.

It helps when looking for things in a list. When I look at my bookmarks I get the same faveicon for all things but a few sites stand out because their icons are different. So I am very happy my friend has helped me figure out how to do this. Thanks Daniel!
Also, I have updated the footer of this site. Gone is the ugly brown. Here comes the pretty blue.
Now that I got photoshop working again I was able to create my ani-gifs for both the MoGoLounge site
and HandForgedProductions site.
Now you can click right there and be taken to the other site. Before one had to find my bio, figure out how to click on the darn thing and then find the links. Now…no muss, no fuss! Cool.

Persistance pays off!
Sometimes it feels like it doesn’t pay to get out of bed.
I got a nifty new computer and am very happy with it. Macs rock! (For you PC people out there, they rock too, just for different reasons.) But getting the computer involved a few things. I had to reconfigure my computer hutch (move a shelf up) and was at a loss as to how to do that with limited time and resources. Luckily a very nice new friend helped me. (It was a job that required two people.)
So I got it reconfigured. Cool. Next I had to tackle the incredible rats nest of wires and figure out where things went. Usually I know this stuff but the original computer had been moved when I was in the hospital so I wasn’t able to label all the cords like I usually do. However, got it configured correctly (or so I thought). No dice. Now my tivo and internet connection stopped working. It appeared my router wasn’t working. I called comcast and dealt with a nice guy there and then called Tivo and dealt with very nice gal there. Throughout it I was trying to check things out. Was it the cable? No… it works in this other configuration…. hmmm. What the hell? It was working yesterday…. before I moved stuff. I must be culprit. Pirates say it best I think: AAARRRRGH.
BUT, with persistance I managed to figure it out. So now the tivo can see the router and my nifty new computer works and sees the internet.
And by reinstalling CS2, photoshop and illustrator now work again.
So, persistance is the key. I keep that in my mind when stuff goes south. It is appropriate that my music is playing “That’s life” right now. Michael Bublé has golden pipes.
New Digital Stained Glass: Snowflake I is posted on Imagekind
![]()
I have just posted a new design to my imagekind site. I have used images of snow, ice and water to create the patterns within the “glass”. I love geometric patterns and the whole idea that every snowflake is unique. The colors are primarily blue though the middle pattern is a inverted hue it looks like ice lit from below to me. I will also post this on my handforgedproduction site to be placed on a few select items but I think this is the best way to view my art.
